Apple Pie Detoxing Vitamin Water

Creating my own flavored waters is one of my daily habits. Whether it is lemon, basil, berries, or cucumber, flavored waters have many benefits to the drinker, including hydration and a boost of vitamins.  One of my all time favorites is Apple Cinnamon Water. This water tastes like apple pie the longer it sits while helping to detox your system and boost your metabolism.

  • 1 - 2 apples, washed very well (my favorites are Pink Lady and Braeburn) 
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 pitcher 
  • Cold, filtered water
Thinly slice the apple, skin on and cored, and place into the pitcher. Add the cinnamon sticks and pour the water over the ingredients.  Let sit for at least an hour in the fridge and remember the longer it sits, the better it tastes. Enjoy!
